A varicocele are abnormal veins that can be found in a male scrotum. They are located just above the testicles and they can be found on either one or both sides of the scrotum. Varicocele are to some extent, in born because they are developed in boys when the boys turn 15 years old and continue to grow throughout puberty. They are quite commonly found in men and they are found in up to 15% of men. Varicocele may cause problem to man if they are very large and cause the symptoms of pain in the scrotum and in some men cause problems of fertility.
