Now, every woman is at risk. Unfortunately, the risk factors for breast cancer all boil down to 2 factors – a woman’s age and that she’s female. Whether or not she has a family history doesn’t quite matter, it is not a strong risk factor. At least 70% of women with breast cancer do not have a family history of breast cancer and yet, they are diagnosed with breast cancer.
